Sophie was a rescue dog from the Richmond City Pound. She had been HORRIBLY neglected and abused. The vets who spayed and examined her said due to her condition and age, she appeared to have been a puppy mill ‘breeder’ 
. When I saw her, and her little, matted legs wrapped around my neck, it was love at first woof! She has been a pampered princess since the day I brought her home.
I had a chance to meet Sophie at the Henrico Humane Society Pet Expo.

Sophie is beautiful! It is so wonderful that you adopted her! The pets from the pounds and humane societies always make the best friends! I am sure you are taking great care of her, and I am sure she is taking great care of you too.
